We are currently working hard on the establishment of “Hope in the Heart”—a dedicated emergency center that will respond to emergency cases for children who must urgently be taken out of their homes. The project will involve two residential units that will be a family format, with a view to the sea. One unit will be for fifteen girls, and other for fifteen boys.
In order to complete the building, we are turning to you good-hearted people throughout the world. This emergency center will be the only one of its kind in Israel for the religious sector. The need to remove children from their non-functioning homes is very urgent. Every minute they remain in an unhealthy situation is destructive to their delicate souls. The emergency center is for children who have been removed from their homes by the welfare officials of Israel. The decision in these cases are decisive. The circumstances are so extreme that the children cannot remain at home even another moment. The emergency center is arranged in such away that it is ready to accommodate urgent cases 365 days a year, 24/7. Sometimes this will be necessary in the middle of the night, or in the midst of a Shabbat or holiday, without no advance notice. This emergency center functions like a first aid station without prior warning. It can be a lifesaver for many children.
